Another pointless thread

I've actually pointed it out to the Rt Hon Nick Clegg MP and complained to the BBC's Newswatch programme. No surprises at all that their web site contains no email links to the programme.

That'll be me banned again from working for the BBC for another ten years.

It's a new first for me, Ken, listening to a politician for a whole 29 seconds

What gets me about this sort of thing is, these people have a whole pack of PA's ,gofers, advisers, agents ,and general lackeys to look after things like this(paid for by the tax payer) and yet they still do daft things like this..... Jeff....

I go out to work and come back to a political discussion!!

No daffs out here in Bradford, but thousands of crocuses forming large white purple and yellow carpets..

...and me with no camera!

Back to pointlessness please..
Cheers, HG

the daffs I saw today were all buds on the east end of the road but a mass of open flowers at the west end, nearer the town.

I've bought a weather vane but will have to take it back because when I put it together the points are, going clockwise:

Politics is pointless

It usually doesn't solve anything, they all rely on talk, talk, talk, rather than do, do, do.

They expect someone else to clear up the mess and then take credit for it.

Grand day out at Minsmere today. The staff and volunteers are doing a stirling job considering the amount of works going on. Well done to them all, keeping on the pointless theme I took a K5 but didnt use it. Used a video cam instead.

Is Dunwich still there or has it gone into the sea. Does the odd skull still fall from the cliff face A few years since I was down that way.

Yea! Dunwich still there. The fish n chips in the hut on the beach are a must if you visit. If you take the family though you will need a mortgage.

When I was a kid you could often find bones sticking out of the cliff face. Don`t know what the score is now though.

Minsmere has just undergone a major sea wall strengthening courtesy of the Environment Agency. Very well done, the site is now very tidy. It`s the place for chocolate cake too.

The fish and chips were mandatory every visit best, I've had anywhere. I beleive the original "hut" had a fire but was rebuilt. My wife still keeps in touch with people in Lowestoft and I think we are due to visit but with two weddings to attend in Aberdeen and various mini break holidays it will have to be on hold until next year (unless we win the lottery of course )

Is the chip hut on the beach as a result of erosion or was it built there?

The original town of Dunwich is about 3 miles out under the sea, used to be a major port with two MP's. they do say when there is going to be a disaster you can here the church bell ringing. It must have never stopped lately

Well my youngest earned his Sunday dinner today.
His vet is in Wales helping with the lambing so he invited himself for roast chicken.

Meanwhile I got him to unlock my internet dongle so I can buy a SIM in Norway rather than relying on the dodgy internet on the boat. Since it will be a full boat this trip I expect they will be charging for access, and it will be even more miserable than last year.

The dongle isn't a year old yet so I couldn't get it unlocked legally.

I must have missed an installment Gwyn, How does Vet, Wales, Roast chicken dinner in Holland link up?
