Why does Christmas mostly involve spending half the week getting drunk and the other half with a hangover?

One more party to go!

Tell her to follow your example and not drink so much.

On the off chance.

Does anyone know how to get superglue off my fingers.

I'm not stuck together, but have got a stiff dry plasticy film over my finger ends

Warm soapy water, nail polish remover or margarine. It should peel off naturally from your fingers though.

Good luck

Thanks Tony,

The tube I was using decided to deliver almost all of its contents, when I took the top off, and my fingers were in the way (Could be that I had just brought it in from a cold garage)

I used warm soapy water to get to this stage. I was concerned that the quantity I had on me would stick my fingers together forever.

I'll go away and see if my wife has any nail varnish remover. I can wait though, but it feels like I'm wearing a stiff glove

Strange but true - superglue was actually invented as an emergency field dressing for the US Army and is used by many hospitals to minimise the use of stitches or staples in open heart surgery.

I thought I'd had a zip fastener installed after an operation, 42 staples, and prophetically speaking they may as well have done, opened up in exactly the same place and extending up past the navel. The second surgeon made a much better job though, with propper stitches.

Beat you !!!! I had 53 for my Laparotomy/Colostomy - scared the life out of me when they changed the dressing - I was expecting a few stitches .............I thought I`d been attacked by a rep for Staples or Office World !!

No nail varnish avilable.

Tried surgical spirits, TCP, white spirit - all to no avail.

Just rubbed a load of (probably very expensive) hand cream on to my fingers (seemed a bit more upmarket than marg) and I'll see what tomorrow brings.

I`ve just had a Google and carburettor cleaner or WD40 seem popular but warm soapy water and time the most popular !
