Ah ! They`ll be the Mexican squirrels imported last century for their lawn aerating abilities - forget "special" impregnated bird seed - that`s just a con - just use proper chili and ordinary bird seed - or so Cyril tells me !

My good lady's Father served in the Korean war in the catering corp (he is colour blind so could not join the infantry) - the officer in charge complained about the number of flies in the field kitchen

Of course not a lot could be done to reduce the fly numbers with what little equipment they had so he hung a sign up stating 'no flies beyond this point' - apparently he almost managed to stop laughing whilst receiving the resulting b*ll*cking.

Perhaps a sign in your garden may help especially if you manage to find an already dead example to nail to it as a warning

Otherwise maybe some squirrel shots may keep you happier

You need to get word out to all the take-away shops that GREY squirrel is a great alternative to chicken tika, chicken everything and just watch the GREY squirrel population fall. Make sure they are told RED squirrel are rank poison and should be avoided like the bubonic plague. What exactly has been donated to make a donor kebab

The ones in the local shops look like elephants legs-I've often wondered what they are atually made from.

No squirrels around here, but plagued with pigeons who bully their way to food by just being bigger and pushier than all the rest. I've considered mixing them with carrots and onions, but they're not too obliging. I'm told that mixing some cereal with vodka makes catching them quite easy- might work with squirrels as well

Also a problem with pigeons here, but no squirrels.

Are grey squirrels, not just rats with a posh suit ?.

Take care.

I wonder will tv ads be full of places selling couches this Christmas (normally there's loas of them).
Seeing as no-one is buying new houses the demand should be a lot down.
Cheers,

I have a dream:

Judge a squirrel not by the colour of his fur... but the content of his character.

End squirrel racism!

No problems with squirrels (we only have red) or pigeons here. Rooks and magpies yes, way too many of them here and the rooks are very clever at getting the bird food, no matter what we do to stop them. The only feeder they can't get at is the ground feeder with a protective cage over it, though even that has to be tied down or the rooks will move it enough to get their heads through to the food.
I have to admire their ingenuity, even if they cost me a fortune in food.

I think whoever said it is better to give than to receive was of course referring to a thrashing, and why is it often referred to as a good thrashing? There can't be anything good about it if you are the receiver Unless you are a masochist

As long as this doesn't mean wheelbarrows full of cash to get a can of beans. But then quantitative easing can't do that - can it. You know it makes sense.
