Meanwhile back in Ukeleleland I see that Bill Tapia has died, aged 103.

Are the adverts on the right of these pages anything to do with PentaxUser (even paying revenue to PU)
I've got one for Dolls House Nursery @16.95 from John Lewis

If nothing to do with PU what triggers them.

For the record I'm building a dolls house for my grand daughter, but this is the first time any internet connection has been made about it

It was the co-incidence of my current activity that struck me, then I wondered whether there was a PU link as furniture and dollies is not in my brief. Plywood, hinges etc are but I wouldn't get these of tinternet

I got a bundle of plywood from ebay for a job I did last year.

Quality was spot on and delivery gave me 2 extra sheets!

Apparently they were the packing to stopmy order getting damaged...

...they got used as well!!

Not at all, I will happily say the same thing about humans. In our case, in fact, it's worse, because we should know better. Take the continent of Africa as an obvious example. Before we (the West) imported Catholic morality over there the existing native tribal cultures had various means of regulating their own population to levels the environment was capable of supporting. Us Westerners turned up and taught them all of these means without exception were bad and wrong and had to stop. Result - starving millions. Now we're trying to teach them to use condoms... apparently it's less bad and wrong than we had previously advised. Sorry guys for turning your lives into Hell on Earth, we were only trying to save you from our made-up Hell by creating the genuine article for you. Our bad.

Please stop the political talk, it will always end in tears.

It's hailing here but so far not sticking. I hope it doesn't as I have to collect Sue from her works do later...

It must be getting really cold here, some lasses in Newcastle were seen wearing a coat and two of the men were wearing shirts with the sleeves rolled down mind you they might just have been visitors failing to blend in Fenwicks window a must see for the bairns, old and young

No snow this morning, just a few hailstones laying on the icy ground.

The stove will stay lit from now until the thaw!
