That white stuff is a nuisance
Had the shock of my life when I spotted it yesterday on the M8 going through to Edinburgh . City centre there was slushy and a bit slippery at 10.00am but down Leith Walk it was totally clear of the stuff.
Today my garden is covered and it's alternating between thick big snowflakes and thawing in the sun .
Weird.

My sunshine is alternating with heavy rain and hail showers. In the middle of a hail shower right now - but the sun is shining too - now that is weird.
No snow - yet.

What is amazing is we had the driest November on record, and the paths in the woods were rock hard. First sign of rain and they have all turned into ankle deep blubber again.
I'm happy we don't have any snow. I hope it stays that way all winter too.

Nothing I know of, but the complaints would be justified if it were June.
I thought you guys up North sneered at inclement weather, walked barefoot to the privy at the bottom of the garden, took the ice off the water butt before bathing.

Bathing ????????????? That`s for cissies and Southern softies - up here we beat ourselves with damp copies of the Liverpool Echo !!!!! As for a privy at the bottom of the garden - that`s where we live - we rent it off t` landlord who`s a rich bloke with glass in the windows and two bikes.
