I saw Ken Dodd at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall about 4 years ago.
The show started at 7.00pm and was due to finish at 10.00pm. We were still there laughing at 12.30am. He just won't let you go home. Very funny man, no smut or swearing, absolutely hilarious.

Joclick/Florence Nightingale plays Matt Monroe cds every opportunity she gets - probably the most underrated singer we ever had ( even Frank Sinatra rated him )

I was watching Tommy Cooper on TV when he died.

Here's a random bit of info then - my late Father made Tommy Cooper's false teeth.
Apparently they could hardly get the job done for laughing. Tommy Cooper was one of those naturally funny people.

I wasn't underrating him Tony, Liz has a cd she plays regularly, it was just the disappointment of not getting to see the show we wanted. I doubt anyone could have replaced T.C. Because of the job I had at the time it was very difficult to plan ahead and we thought just this once things have gone right but alas and alack fate stepped in. Sometimes I'd think if I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any sort of luck

I can just picture John on the Antiques Roadshow......and this is the mould that was used to make Tommy Coopers teeth, it was handed down to me by my father who was a dentist

Just had my new windscreen fitted. Not the nice heat reflecting sort I had, just a plain one.
His nibs forgot to mention I had a special screen when he booked it all, so they ordered the plain one. I could have waited for them to order the right one but that would have taken me into next week, and another day waiting for them to come and fix it.
I'll just have to put up with a hot car, and on a positive note the GPS and my auto pay car parking gadget will work without having to be placed in exactly the right spot on the screen.

We had baby clinic at the Health Centre today.
34 screaming kids, moaning mothers and nagging nurses.
I've got a headache now.
I wanna go home!
