Ssssssssssh

My next project is now being seriously considered - a nasty dark dingy SMALL downstairs bathroom with a cheapy shower cabinet will , if the price is right , become a nice clean shiny small wet room
let the education continue

I've watched some of it, the main problem seems to be the locals who apparently have no fear whatsoever of death or injury and attempt to push other traffic closer to the edge.

I've driven worse than that road, just without the lunatics. Although the A470 between Merthyr and Cardiff has a good selection of those...

I haven't seen that programme CoDa. I guess we'll get it eventually.

I did watch the one on the Beeb - "The Worlds Most Dangerous Roads" or something like that.
That was pretty scary stuff at times. I hate to think what the insurance cost was on the "stars" who took part.

Only watched a couple of episodes. As usual you hear of accidents but miraculously the "stars" usually don't have one, wheres the fun in that

Scariest road I was on was at night, Dubai to Abu Dhabi, the shadows caused by on-coming traffic on the other carriageway looked like camel legs and you could never be sure it wasn't one

Health a safety instructor falls off ladder
Video link

Unbelievable someone even threw a safety helmet to him up the ladder and he had a rope dangling around his feet

Obvious example of why wooden ladders are much safer

I don't know how we survived at all Tony, no Health and Safety, no technology, just sitting round the radio or tucked up in bed with the old crystal set. But we're still here despite it all. BTW I've just noticed the number of posts from you 1948, the year I was born.
