Day 4 and the units are in, well most of them.

A little adjustment tommorrow and the sink, work sutfaces and washing machine should be in.

I live in hope...

After looking at the wall carcasses we needed to adjust the position, 3 hours lost at the start of day 5.

Ho hum! It seems you were right TT, things never go to plan where kitchens are concerned.

MImi is back this morning to finish the worktops and, hopefully the plumbing.

Then it'll be a break 'til Monday.

It's macking for some interesting photos though, they'll be in an album on my website when it's all finished.

IT'S IN!!!

Despite a few hiccups we now have a kitchen, phase one is over, phase two will begin shortly.

Why two phases?

With the cabinets fitted we can now get a perfect fit on the doors and trim, but that will take another ten to fourteen days.

Andthat will be another photo op!!

Sounds like you have had a more successful weekend than the Whitby group any way.
I hope phase 2 goes even better and the only hiccups are from too much champagne to celebrate it being finished.

If it hadn't been for the kitchen and work I'd have popped over Whitby, as it turns out I'm glad I didn't!

For those there today, I hope the weather's better.
