Another pointless thread

I usually get myself a TV dinner when he's away. Too idle to cook for myself. I used to cook a meal for one every night when he worked away from home for years, but now I go for convenience. We only have a choice of Chinese or Pizza here as take-away - in both cases I'd rather make my own.
I'm not that fond of Dutch Chinese.
Oh we do have an Indonesian take-away too. Forgot about that, but it is expensive.

My Colombia trip as died a death.
He will be working minimum 12 hours a day for 6 days so there is little point in me going. I might as well not see him in the comfort of my own home as pay a fortune to not see him in Colombia.
I am very disappointed.

I'm so sorry you couldn't go.
Looking on the bright side though, , you could always spend the money with Pentax.

I was hoping to make good use of my Pentax there.

The money will stay in the holiday pot, tempting as it is to spend it on some goodies.

That sounds not unlike a Canon IP90 I used for a while. The ink cartridges were about the size of a matchbox.

I think somebody is trying to get a lot of Pentax users at Whitby.

Not as attractive as Colombia in November methinks.

A heating man is here fixing a new radiator. He arrived at 7.15 and is still hard at work over an hour later. There have been a few choice words emanating from that room. Who'd a thunk it was so hard to fix a radiator?
Once it is done we can relay the floor I hope. Maybe I'll paint the room too while it is empty.
Or maybe I won't - sounds too much like hard work now I think about it .

Dammit - looks like a paint job is necessary. The new radiator is smaller than the old one - they don't make the exact size any more it turns out - so there is a clear mark where the old one was.

Since it joins onto the main living room, and is the same colour I guess that means a lot of work for the non working woman to do .
