Good for Scotrail for their diligence at seeing a guide dog and being over helpful.

Around here somebody would just try and nick your wallet!

Family meal tonight, first one in ages when both kids are home, as well as boyfriend and mother in law.

I just hope the half cow we're cooking's OK.

Today, our club was running the final round of the BTRDA Autotest Championship, so as usual I loaded the car with camera gear, but due to being on timekeeping duties I only got chance to take two pics, and very mundane ones at that It always amazes me how these guys remember the course; I always get lost after about the fourth cone!

I don't about all you men but today's health news is that a tipple a day is good for us wimmin. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-14806312

Of course tomorrow they'll have changed their minds about it , and I can't enjoy a tipple tonight as I have to pick my husband up from Schiphol at 22.30 .

What an unreasonable time for him to arrive!! Perhaps a tipple when you get home??

Last flight from Warsaw. It was touch and go whether he'd make it.

It will be going on for midnight by the time we get back and he has be up again at 6 tomorrow for work, so I don't think there'll be any alcohol tonight.

It was warm and sunny in Warsaw too, while we had a real autumn storm with gale force winds and yet another inch of rain.

I was going to go sailing tomorrow but the trip has been cancelled due to the weather.

well, i've just recalibrated my monitors here, will do the ones at work tomorrow. They haven't been done for 8 months (oops!).

K10 probably leaves on Friday for a new home , but I simply don't use it enough. But its new owner will look after it, of that I'm sure, and I'll get to see it occasionally

Been having fun with overpriced tyre retailers. Sorry, but I'm not paying £140 more to get them from ATS than it'll cost me to mail order and have ATS fit them!

Also vague ebay sellers who don't answer the questions they've been asked. Watching a lens at the moment where the seller has been asked "are there marks/scratches/fungus" and the response is along the lines of "If you want a mint lens I suggest you give this one a miss". Not terribly helpful really! Fungus I can deal with but scratches are obviously a deal breaker.

Off out for a beer or 2 with some good friends tonight so tomorrow will be interesting.
