Good to hear the fan worked, I'll leave it on a bit longer for you in the hope the fine weather will stick with you for a day or two.
Cheers, HG

I am melting here. Thunderstorms due any moment and in the meantime it is hot, cloudy and very very sticky here. The storm will probably wait until I am out with the pooch, no matter what time I take him.
Still better that than shivering.
His nibs had to put up with 37 yesterday south of Paris - and that was the shade temperature - he was up a tower in the middle of a field, with no shade. In a suit .
Are you planning on visiting the Ukraine TT?

At the moment we have partially clouded and 18-19 degrees C. Hopefully it will last till the evening, as our daughter has invited us on a boat trip after work.
Best regards

Thanks, Gwyn! It will not be anything like Hurtigruten, however, being just a 24 ft. daycruiser.

Gwyn - a visit could be fun , but I doubt that. No I'm trying to learn as I need to persuade some folk that I'm really human and not anti Ukrainian - sorry it's all rather complicated

My poor elder grandson .
Wakes up this morning with the mother and father of a severe cold
Snag #1 - he's due at RAF Cranwell for a 4 day Selection Board - so he's going despite the cold
Snag #2 - having got a leeeetle damp getting to Kings Cross for the train to Grantham, where they get picked up by RAF minibus, there's a lightning strike on the signals at Stevenage - so train cancelled He's now on a train to Leeds which stops at Grantham but will be later than expected .
Oh well - it's a good test of his ingenuity

This is likely to get me in trouble but here goes,
Having seen Smeggypants latest offering I first would like to admire the quality of his pictures.
I don't condone rape/assault/violence in any way shape or form (everyone says that don't they) and it's probably my age but I do wish the female of the species would apply a little decorum
Consequently I don't see the demonstration having the slightest "positive" effect.
Regards
Bernard

Back from the boonies. Off to work tomorrow and thursday - and the weather's due to play ball, with it being 27 and sunny. Very mixed weekend, but life's looking pretty good right now
