Hi guys!
Good to see it's still pointless, just a quick note.
Down in Provence, weather's OK, so's the beer, wine and food.
The bosses driving's better than my navigation, still, we keep finding bars. not all bad then.
Too many photo's of France at the moment, I hope there'll be some worth posting later.
Bye for now.

I've found another advantage of Pentax DSLRs being comparatively tiny:
While searching for a holster of some sort able to take my K-m and the new lens I'm planning to buy in a couple of weeks I found that the biggest Lowepro lens case should be able to handle the lens with the camera attached to it, spare AAs and a few SD cards. So, that over one shoulder, KX with 28mm f3.5 over other, and I'm all set for Goodwood FoS!

A- Wear a Hat: Wellies: Waterproof coat (Full offshore survival suit optional)
B- Take a big umbrella as well
C- Don't go, sit in the dry with your feet up and listen to the radio
Levity over- I assume you probably meant "How do I keep my kit dry" - sorry I don't know the best answer but I've never had a problem hiking in the lakes by just being careful not to point the lens skywards
regards
Bernard
