Depends if you call a 1 hour flying lesson nice although I expect half of that will be on the ground. I wonder if I'll get to loop the loop

And no, there is still plenty of Black Sheep in the Pubs at Hawes, I would have liked to have had more but muggins was driving

ha, the simple shoot from today.... was supposed to be an hour or so and turned into four. With nearly 700 shots. Ah well, at least some of them are pretty damned good - the lights work beautifully when set correctly

Also they have 3 for 2 on Tanglefoot at £4.99 so that's only £3.33 for 4 x 500ml cans..... the cheapest I've ever seen

Actually, most flying clubs are pretty good about giving you the full hour. They use the experience flights to get people in who might then take lessons.

One thing you need to check when you book is what plane you'll be in - the default is something like a Cessna 152 which (no offence because I'm the same) you'd really struggle with. You might have to pay a little extra for a 172, but you have the advantage of four seats if you want to take the other half.

I can recommend Beverley if it's an option. You get to fly out over the coast (or over Leeds if you really want).
