All the better to photograph the new Sinterklaas with .

Congratulations - I noticed you'd got it in another thread last night but didn't want to go off topic there. I always go off topic and thought, for once, I'd refrain.

Where did yo buy it?

Out of curiosity what does "bump" mean as scattered amongst a number of threads

Usually as a reminder that something is for sale - bit like "poke" on Facebook if someone hasn`t heard from you.

Bump if overdone can get a bit tiresome, but it's essentially a way of pulling a thread to the top of the list.

Indeed he's coming to Dordrecht this year

It was indeed in another thread but that was on topic for once XD

I bought it at digimaxx, it's the local store here i get most things from. I had it for the same price as kameraexpress so that's a good deal considering it's a local store. Also bought a Sandisk 16GB Pro to try out and it works well, sadly the card is faster than the camera so i don't gain anything that way but hopefully i can cut the import times by half.

And earlier this week I bought the colour checker passpot and a set of cactus V5 so a lot of new goodies to play with
Here is a quick dirty review in Dutch about the colourchecker. http://www.pentaxforum.nl/smf/index.php?topic=21394.0

Morrisons are thinking of buying Iceland, I wonder if they will shut down a few volcanos.

Ooops it is the frozen food chain they are after

It's still a couple of weeks until I fly off. Hopefully everything will have settled down again by then.

Nearly time to start working out what I can take in my 5kg carry-on allowance. I guess the Bigma won't be going .
Luckily I am allowed to carry a coat as well - the pockets may well be stuffed with gear, at least until I'm sure they won't weigh the carry-on.

Stupid thing is if we'd booked the flight our selves, instead of as a package with the casita we'd have had 15kg carry-on. I'll never understand airlines.

... I had my bag weighed at Frankfurt last week.... first time ever. Nearly got into trouble, but was saved by "oh, take the laptop out then". I think I'm going to look into something where I can stick the camera stuff in an insured, padded bag in the hold.

They weighed your bag?

I've had them stuffed in the laughably small size check things, but never weighed. Only the hold stuff has had that done.

How can they charge for being a little over on the hand baggage when there's passengers that weigh 20odd stones (160 kilos)?
Cheers, HG

Bl.... weather - blowing a gale here and at times the really nasty variety of rain that really HURTS if you get caught out in it .

My daughter [ #1 ] keeps telling me that she's got fantastic sun and dry weather .

Would someone up there kindly sort it out please !!

A lot of the low cost airlines and holiday charters weigh hand luggage now. Being cynical, it could be one way of increasing the revenue stream
