An improvement on the original .
I really do prefer this arrangement.
Germans singing a Dutch song in English/Dutch pretending to be Elvis.
Maybe the Netherlands can borrow them for the Eurovision song contest next year .

for one of 40 RAF places for the next Academic Session - we thought he'd blown his last interview [ the third one ]
If he gets in Grandma is going to have to help with the costs

haha didn't looked at it that way, probably only Germans can pull that off because the Dutch and English do sound correct to my ears.
We came last this year so everything is an improvement but to be honest... it says more something about the Eurovision song contest... have you seen those hyperactive gnomes

ANd to be honest the 3js should have song that song in dutch, that sounds so much better...

Ah but he has a chance to win that place, when you were afraid he's already blown it. That is worth some congratulations.

Agreed - and if he does get there he'll be the first person from his school to go there - and from his Air Cadet Unit .
Still today is his last day [ hopefully ] in his present School - so the leavers go to Leavers Assembly wearing their 6th Year Uniform - described 'officially' as smart business dress - interpreted as suit , nice shirt and tie !! The School have accepted him for 6th Form College there, depending on exam results of course, so at least we do not have the worry of trying to find a place for him if he doesn't make Welbeck

Hope all went well yesterday TT.
I remember my son wearing 'smart' clothes at school.
He emptied the ties from his late grandfathers drawers. It was amazing to see how many styles from the 60s and 70s were back.
I spent the day in York yesterday, camera in hand. No images though, poor light and lack of interesting subjects being the main reason.
Still, I'm now counting down to my hols.
Look out France we're coming back!!

Well the world didn't end, though I see there is a volcano getting active in Iceland again.
We enjoyed a nice BBQ - grill veg and bangers with bread and a nice Merlot.
