I picked-up a whole load of new jobs today, which makes me happy not depressed. And puts a D3S/D4 more firmly on the cards... oops...

I picked up a black ME that didn't work, no lens with it, for £5 +P&P.
One new set of batteries later it's in use!
That was a bargain, as wasthe pack of sausage rolls at Morrisons this evening.
They'll go well with some soup for linch tomorrow.

I think this one was a fair price. An M 50/1.7 usually goes for over £20 at the moment on its own and providing the camera is healthy it was well worth it. The ME is basic but feels very nice in the hands, probably due to having a lot more metal in it than later M series models.

I agree the price is good, the last 1.7 I got cost me well over £20!
Don't run the ME down though, as an aperture priority body it (usually) does a very good job. When paired with a 40mm lens it's a true pocket camera as well.
We'd better change subject before a point starts to appear...

Been busy, babysitting grand-kids and also sorting out a holiday or two (or three :blush. Got to take them (holidays not grand-kids) while we can afford them.
Horrible day today weather-wise - I got soaked every time I went outside. Planning holidays was good therapy. Paying for them less so .
Still have to get one booked and confirmed, then I can organise the kennels for the dog. I wonder how he'll be on his own there. I'm sure he'll be fine, he's a doggy dog, not a people dog.

There was an old lady who swallowed a fly that wriggled and jiggled and tickled in side her. She swallowed a spider to catch the fly, that wriggled and jiggled and tickled in side her. She swallowed a bird to catch the spider.......
