TT - run an up to date virus checker over your system, make sure it hasn't picked up something nasty?

If all of this has happened since your last scan (gotcha re the Big Mac but), it may be prudent to run it again - if only to discount a virus or similar as a possibility...

did a scan and had to get the latest ClamXav . It did pick up 3 things it thought were phishing attempts [ they were about 3 years old ] which amused me - other than that I was clean .
I have a feeling that I know what triggered the problem and have still to ID which of the AdBlockers caused it.
About a week ago - I started seeing these horrendously coloured ads for the Glasgow Groupon cheap offer thingie , and it took some fiddling to dispose of it - I suspect that was the problem . I did finally get rid of the Groupon thing . I'll soon start experimenting with the AdBlocker again

Just got home for lunch and the wood's all stacked.
My better half is now doing bacon butties, for us.
I have it easy some times, but that is why I married her 27 years ago.

Just finished preparing the vegetables for tonight, the chops are brazing, and I am on the forum. SWMBO is washing her hair, peace reigns.

Colin - I hope the chops are BRAISING - not BRAZING - otherwise the alloys will burn your mouth and the chops will be very chewy at the point of contact......................................LOL

just got an SMS that my "girls" won't be here for another hour. So it's sweet and sour chicken with Noodles tonight...
the new speakers for work are a lot further along now. My measuring is actually pretty good now, the parts are push-fit
Just started the paint process with primer, so with a bit of luck I can get the filling done tonight and then reprime tomorrow.

Lawks and the rain is once more of the very very heavy variety . I honestly don't think it's paused yet today.
I've a heap of paper to go in my recycling bin and it's still in the kitchen - I'd need to don full wet weather gear to get to the wall where it's stored - opposite my back door and about 24 feet away
Dunno where this darn liquid is coming from

I've mislaid my glasses .
I have a pair of cheap reading glasses in practically every room in the house, but I also have a good expensive prescription pair (Pentax lenses of course), which are just so much better than the cheapos. More comfortable to wear, and they take my astigmatism into account too, so are more restful.
But now they are missing. No idea what I have done with them. I had them this afternoon when we were clearing out ancient CD-roms and the like, but now I can't find them.
I even went through the bin bags full of junk just in case they were in there.
Grrrr. They are fairly new too, so I hope they turn up - I can't afford to replace them really. Well I can, but I don't want to.

Looks like that's what my next ones will be TT.
Until then it's a pair of specs by the PC so I can see the screen and a pair on my nose so I can see where I've left them!

Bangers and mash and ale for dinner.
I do like fine cuisine and experimenting in the kitchen, but it hard to beat the old classics.
