That's what we had last night too!

Well lager, not ale since we can't get ale so easily, but bangers and mash with onion gravy was the menu.
Nothing like a good serving of comfort food .

Blue Monday today. The most depressing day of the year apparently.

My lady love is flying in from the US today and so I am hardly feeling blue.

That is great news Kris! Is this the permanent trip or is she still awaiting that visa? Either way I can understand blue is the last thing you'll be feeling .

Blue Monday is all down to advertising really - link . But it gives the rags something to write about.

Yes, but who believes them?

After all the press seem more intent on destroying civilisation and replacing it with "SHOCK, HORROR, FREE DVD!!!" stories!

I would have said the actual "Blue Monday" would be the first one after the New Year bank holiday, when people suddenly realise that another work year has begun and there won't be any excuse for a party for a while?

That is, after all, why Yule/Xmas celebrations happen when they do. It's an excuse to shout and bang things in the darkest days of the year, when our minds attempt to fill the shadows with all manner of nasties.

The only thing blue around here is the sky - 7 degrees and no wind - luvverly - more please !!

Just had a haircut and getting ready to "jet my kitchen drain" - not a euphamism HG - as it seems slow with a build up of grease over the cold snap.

I can't find it so I think it's been deleted but when I left for work it was all fine and above board
I think you've just missed it Gareth, nothing's been deleted, but to be honest I'm not sure offhand which section it's in.

It'll turn up!

Tozza, would I?

How's the drain?

I've now got to bag 2cwt of coal as we're expecting a delivery in the next few days and the bunker needs to be empty.

Camera bit now, just got a *ist DL from ebay, it;s in bits but did work (so the vendor says!), anybody know where to get a cheap lcd screen for it?
