I am just debating 8 days in the sun, or 12 days on the Hurtigruten in the cold next month.
Husband is away a lot so I thought I'd look for a trip for myself. I first thought of sun of course, but then found the Hurtigruten is not too expensive, just blooming cold. I might get to see the aurora then of course.
Must make up my mind soon. I'll probably end up doing neither and just staying put here .

I know Bret. And I hate snow.
But the price is good, and the chance to see the aurora makes it tempting, though I don't think I have enough cold weather clothing for it.

Evicted mouse for third time this morning. Released away from the cats with dry cover and plenty of food available.
Eviction order should have been served a few days ago but SWLTBO opened the trap too wide to check the contents and mouse jumped out, did a hand brake turn around the island unit and back to whence it had been captured.

This is weird.
I've been unable to get here since yesterday evening .
Have to use a proxy at present [ this is something totally unknown to me ]
I wonder what's going on - can get to all my other favourites/bookmarks with no problem whatsoever.
