The boss has just walked in, opened a bottle and dumped the pizzas on the work top.

I am starting to recover from yesterday. My recalcitrant electrons are doing whatever they want at work and at the moment - I do not care (although that will change on Monday morning.
I knocked up a spot of kedgeree for dinner and am now having a drop of cider.

no beer here, just lots of footage to try and edit. Couple of hairy moments on the road, too, which was... nice?
Car was shiny for ... ooh, at least ten minutes. But that's now the second coat of Collinite, so the muck should come off easier now.

Trying to improve my repair on the Auto Takumar 55mm f2. It keeps stopping itself down while focusing as the replacement trip pin I made didn't have a thick enough head, so I've removed it and put a blob of epoxy putty on which will be trimmed/filed to the correct shape when hardened.
The test shots with it came out ok, so it's worth the effort to restore as these don't appear to be hugely common lenses.

ok, the footage is crappy. Maybe I can salvage two minutes out of it. Or maybe not. Ahh, this is worse than starting photography! I expect to understand these things and I still make simple mistakes like focus... it's a bit like a completely, purely manual cam in Video mode. ARGH!

I tried the early Chrome, hated it and went back to Firefox.
Is it any better now?
I recall that pages didn't want to load and some sites couldn't be found at all!

Going to have fun over the next few weeks, I've just won 3, yes 3 Kodak cameras that use 620 film!
Why I bid on them heaven only knows, I'll have to start re-spooling 120 film when they arrive.
I just hope they have spools in them!

Sounds like alcohol fuelled bidding to me, I would have another drink to get over it.
