I'm determined to take more and better long exposure shots in the snow this year. My attempts last time were spoiled by a bit of lens flare:

Nowt wrong with that shot, it looks cold!

Might try the new trousers that go with the jacket today, or I might just keep the until it gets like the picture.

Off road bike, snow and good kit, now when I was younger THAT was heaven!!

Now it's just good fun.

Finally managed to stop my "new" slide projector from reeking of stale smoke, and got it to work properly too (replaced stretched drive belt with suitable yellow rubber band from pack costing 95p!). Got some interesting smoke patterns too from the incense I was burning near the fan intake to clear the pong.

When Charlie and Di got wed were canny.

We booked a holiday touring Sweden and missed it all!

I hope they announce a date soon so we can book a trip around France.

Sounds like a good idea HG!

I didn't watch Charlie and Di either - I was at home alone with 3 boys under 4, the youngest only 2 month old. No chance of watching it even if I'd wanted to . Husband was off on a jolly to Brazil (meeting on Copa Cabana beach, amongst other places) and then to the US for meetings at Cocoa Beach FL and Pasadena, CA.
A hard life

My money is on July 1st -Di's birthday, and a Friday to make it a long weekend .

the good: Every car park is now an ice rink.

the bad: I have to drop some cash on photo gear. And it won't have Pentax on the boxes.... the "other" red brand. For work.

I read this earlier and got sooooo depressed it reminded me of that sad fateful day, it was like the day the music died...........

Y'know, the day they got married my dear departed Mother in Law insisted the whole family gather to watch it on TV, she laid on a nice spread and I was even forced to take pictures of tea and cakes, and even pics of the event as it unfurled on the TV, I watched as Di whispered I do and broke down in tears.............at the thought of all that wasted film

Now the question is do I finish off my last bottle of Hoegaarden to cheer myself up
