Well - just back as the rain started

We have had some fun and I ~think~ I've got some decent shots Some are for the bin I know.

Next time we do something like this I must remember to take a set of batteries with me - these are going to need changed pretty soon

He's actually said he's going to bring some studio lights with him on Wednesday - hmmmm that could be interesting .

bah humbug, the 7D is almost nice.

What's really got me thinking, though, are the opportunities with HD vid and decent lenses... wow....

I think ebay needs a "don't bother making offers to this seller" option.

Just sent a fair offer for something freshly listed and the arrogant little toad declined it with "thanks for the offer but it's just been listed and I think it will sell this weekend for very near the asking price".

If you don't want to accept lower offers then don't put the option on the listing!

Well at the moment he's trying to sell an S3 with meter and 55mm f1.8 for £50, that should narrow it down a bit... I don't think it'd be a good idea to name names as he hasn't broken any ebay rules, he's just being rude to potential customers.

His feedback is atrocious too, so I'm actually rather glad it was declined!

I thought £40 was a fair starting point for negotiations really, I'd have gone up to £44 or so but the best offer is supposed to invite haggling, where you always start low and meet in the middle.

Not very pointless, but never mind.
Where has he got his hands on an 18-135, or has he just ordered it an is waiting for it to eventually be available?

Remember remember the fifth of November, the gunpowder treason and plot.
I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot.

I should probably have read the original "V" comics, I have seen the film though. The sad part is that Moore's writing was inspired by Thatcherite government, when the film came out in the NuLabour era the building blocks for a police state had all been quietly put into place...

That's a famous advert for British Rail from years ago. Didn't the HST look much better in yellow, blue and grey!
