It was bad enough scraping the car already - don't need snow yet, or ever in fact.

Rain and sun and wind, aka autumn, here

It was snowing heavily in Helsinki for around 30 minutes... nothing lying, but it's been over freezing for only 3 hours today. We'll see, some more would be nice

Spent a daft half hour today trying to photograph a "Drop Weight Tester", this for the uninitiated is a twelve food yellow cage with a big weight that we drop on things, not a very sexy subject. Still it meant that I could make a senior manager stand on a mezzanine balancing a cloth backdrop while I played with some liquid nitrogen. The things you have to do!!!!!!!

So you are not supposed to fill them with washing up liquid then ?

Most horn players I know tend to have very dented horns, probably from rushing to the bar.

My bro-in-law who was principal trombonist with the Toronto Symphony until MS struck used to say - "What is the definition of a drummer ? Someone who hangs out with musicians ! " In joke apparently !!

Adagio for strings according to this. By Barber.
Gold star for Dangermouse

The drummer joke is about as old as drums.

Having a drummer in the family we have used it too.
