Two meals in one day? he must be feeling guilty about all those gigs he's been going to lately Happy birthday anyway Gwyn!
Pointless thread again : I've just been packing for spending the next month away from home, and have found I am mysteriously short of socks. Could the dog have been hiding them? Maybe he is taking revenge for me doing this to him yesterday...

this is actually an excuse to check to see if I can post from Flickr, as everyone seems to have difficulty...
Oh look, it worked.

I like cooking the evening meal, it's a good excuse to open a bottle of beer and have an early drink.
How's this, I called in at a local canal locks this evening, on the way home from work, hoping to finish a film in one of my folders.
On arrival I was confronted by a local charity bash that works with troublesome youths and had to do PR work, finally getting away twenty minuets later.
No chance to take photo's and a hard time keeping out of the press ones.
Sods law and all that!

Thanks everyone for teh birthday wishes.
Just back from a delicious meal. I had sashimi to start, and wild boar for mains. No pud. Too full! He had Dutch shrimps to start, and dikbil tournedos. All really good, and best of all we could walk to the restaurant, and stagger home again
Dikbil is fat bum in Dutch and refers to Belgian blue-white cattle, which are a cross of a Durham meat cow with a Belgian milk breed. result is an enormous beast, with wonderful meat, born, raised and slaughtered in my town.
