That looks interesting flossie, I'm constantly trying to get greasy marks of my camera's rear screen!
I know there's a point to that but what the heck...
... and keep grumbling Tony.

I thought we had it bad with the inevitable "nose print" on the screen
Apparently users of Sony full frame cameras end up with a large kiss mark on the screen, if they use it while wearing lipstick!

I actually managed to get lens flare on Monday. Evidently my IR filter doesn't have an SMC coating, as normally I'd have got away with that shot!

Watching the tv I couldn`t believe what I was seeing - I never thought I would see it in my lifetime and certainly not in colour on the BBC from the comfort of my own armchair on a 42" Plasma tv screen ............quite amazing and well done to all those involved for showing us - A Pentax Digital camera being used in a sketch on the Harry & Paul Show !!!

Didn't watch Harry & Paul last night, and forgot to record it too.
Which camera was it?
It is indeed great news about the miners. I hope they get them all out. The last man down there (presumably the helper who went down) will have a tough time of it I think.
I wonder what those with wives and mistresses will do now .
Quite a bit of explaining to be done there methinks.

Quite a story.
But we should be grateful the Americans didn't do it. They would have just thrown a few sticks of dynamite down to make the hole bigger!

Sad but true - I had a customer used to visit my cafe back in the 70s who was out in the jungles of Asia during the Korean War - he said if they were out on patrol and the Yanks turned up and started shooting they would throw themselves onto the ground and wait until they had run out of ammo.......................................nuff said !

From what I've seen of "GI Joe" films on TV, the likes of Jarhead etc, it would seem the Yanks brainwash thier regulars so much they cant think for themselves, so when an officer shouts "FIRE!" they fire, of course with all the noise they then cant hear the order to "cease fire"
