Ah HG the beauty of the Bloody Mary.................fresh chilled tomato juice,Tabasco Sauce,Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce,Iced Vodka, celery salt and a stick of celery to stir it with...................heavenly food - almost as good as a couple of pints of Draught Guinness.

The only two things I will not eat are Onions boiled in milk urrrrgggh ! and the Oursin - a spiny sea urchin which when the top is sliced off looks like a hen`s egg ! I have had shark fin, reindeer, frog, snail, chocolate ants,Kangaroo tail and most shellfish - never been able to source lark`s tongues in aspic or wolf nipple chips.

Tee hee - just back from 9 holes - warm and cloudy - rain`s a comin` tho`

Tony Curtis has left us.

One of the greats, and in possibly the funniest film ever made.

Farewell.

Well nobody's perfect!

A sad loss. Hopefully the film will get a re-run now.

May Bernard Schwartz RIP. He played a character called Mr Schwartz as one of his last roles.

I'm sorry, but you have all missed the ultimate devil's vegetable - okra.

Nothing but seed, stalk and hard skin and fur. Yuk.

You forgot it turns into wallpaper paste when cooked.
Up there with celery - but easier to avoid.

The ultimate in awfulness for me would be a bowl of gumbo - celery, okra and seafood all in one dish.

Theres always one

The waiter took time to ask how I would normally eat steak, when I replied Medium he suggested I have the Buffalo cooked Medium Rare as it was a more tender meat and would cook quicker, I took his advice and it was the best Burger I have ever eaten, now I know why the Native Americans took offence at us hunting "their" Buffalo

They wouldn't have minded so much if the animals had been eaten, not just slaughtered.
