Celery is second only to courgette as the devils vegetable. No in fact I hate celery even more than I hate courgette.
The very idea of celery soup makes me feel green around the gills .
Home made leek and potato soup tonight for me. I'm on my own and having been given a load of leeks made some soup from some of them just to get rid of them. We have had leeks in practically every form possible until now.
I don't feel like cooking so some soup will do just fine.

Yes I am a fussy eater.
I won't eat celery, under any circumstance. I will eat courgette, but I don't really like it. I will eat any other vegetable you put before me.
I will eat liver and kidneys, and if I have to tripe. No brains. I have eaten lamb's fries. I like meat, but can live without it, at least some of the time.
Refuse to eat foie gras.
No seafood except scallops (maybe). No fish with lots of little bones. Sashimi is good.
No keen on Indian food. Happily enjoyed a meal at a "local" restaurant in Arusha, Tanzania with our guide. He made us promise not to tell his boss he'd taken us there - even though we insisted on it.
So now you know. Not so fussy really .

ok ok ok Agree about foie gras - actually I don't like the taste. My only no no is tomato soup/juice. Tomatoes any other way are fine. Do you mean you don't like smoked eel

This total refit is really rather stressful . Having said that I'm glad I finally decided to get everything ripped out and start from the 4 bare walls.
We have found some rather nasty things so basically the kitchen is being rewired as well
I dread to think what this will cost at the end BUT the thought of a gas hob and a gas double oven instead of a Halogen hob [ and only 1 of its 2 rings could be properly controlled , the other 2 rings were radiant and as s l o w as d e a t h ] is helping
I'm actually going to be able to bake cakes again - not done that for about 12 years
