Nobody removed your image Tony, but you can't replace an image in the competitions. Something else went wrong when you tried to, but it was a computer glitch of some sort that lost your original.

Ahhh ! Right !!! Thanks John - first time it`s ever happened - I have done it 3 or 4 times in the past - usually if I find that the crop or the angle has not come out right on uploading and need to resend the image.
At least one member of the family has entered so I can`t complain .

Reading rumours about the K5 - can't get much more pointless than that - better to wait until it is announced

Let's face it - young uns get a chance of a job when us oldies pack in the daily grind .
What's hard for the Government to understand about that ?

Retirement is great if you have enough money.
When my other half retires, in 3 years, we will be in deep do-do I suspect.
We have an unsellable house, with mortgage, and a broken employment history to contend with.
Plus I have never been able to find a job here, and now I am not a very attractive proposition for any potential employer so no income from me to soften the blow.

my grandparents retired at 60 and both grandmothers survived with very comfortable retirements until 95. My parents both retired before they were 60 having been made huge "early retirement" offers that meant it was cheaper to retire than carry on working!
However, I will never be able to retire, as someone has to pay the country's debts run up when people could work for a mere 1/3 of their life...

Still shooting in the dark (literally and metaphorically)...

This wee it was to be Aperture - BIG and using Av or Sports mode or Tv try and get the pigeons in George Square in motion - or get some similar pics of your pets .
Weather frustrated me [ Class was Wed. ] so in disgust took the K-x to Edinburgh with me this morning [ Church is there - don't ask ] Normally the area is overrun by pigeons , seagulls and the like .
TODAY ------- hahahahahahahahahaha
Took some pics of moving traffic - but it's not what he asked for , got a family out walking 2 dogs [ on leads ] not great , action is certainly frozen but I don't like them.
Out of 19 shots perhaps 6 are what he wants - and they are not great shots
