Relax, enjoy London, and sleep your way home tomorrow, ready for that decorator. Hopefully your train leaves at a sensible time tomorrow.
How did you find a decorator who will work Sundays?

hmm - and miss all the free coffee ?
Occasionally us Oldies get the bargains - thanks to my Senior Rail card I got a return FIRST CLASS ticket for £69
Last time I travelled 2nd class I paid almost the same and had to endure a baby being changed on the table I was seated at - not a nice moment or two !! I cannot understand anyone doing that

Gwyn - it was his choice He's coming in to check the plaster is completely dry and as he is also an electrician is finishing moving 2 electric points for me then too - so the painting is straight forward .
He was recommended by my plumbers who subcontract work to him. The plumbers have been in business , man and boy since 1900 !! They are my first port of call for help = thanks to them I now have a good roofing man , they do my plumbing and I now have a wee man who with his sons can cover joinery and electrical work .
Train leaves at 13.00 tomorrow so I'll be in Glasgow about 18.50 if all goes well - then my wee tame taxi driver[ a really nice Indian gentleman ] will pick me up and take me home - and carry my case in I know without asking that he's taken the trouble to drive past the house at least twice a day while I've been away to check that all looks well
