Cuttlefish are far too cute and fascinating to eat!

Some Dutch people would happily eat a certain octopus .

Another wet miserable day here.

Off for my eye test shortly.

No evidence of mice here yet thank goodness. I shall set the traps though just in case .

I hate mice .

We've had a mouse. Evidence included nibbled doughnuts and droppings by the bin. Traps are down, now to see if anything is caught.

No such thing as A mouse. Always more than one I'm afraid.

Our dog hasn't reacted to them yet so I'm assuming they aren't inside yet. No evidence, and the dog will go bananas. She is pretty good at catching them too, inside and out - they like our wood store.

I see Fuji have launched the world`s first 3D camera and printing service - no need for special glasses - WOW - now people can look at their cr*p photos from the holiday in Spain and see them lifelike and realistic !

A snip at £400 - will we see a 3D comp here soon Stefan ?

3D can not be called realistic though, they are already busy with interactive and tactile holograms that's something you might call realistic.

About the comp, I'm still waiting for a video section on this forum

True, they tend to come in colonies. Not usual to get them in August though - they're usually an October-May thing.

Please - not video my friend - diff`rent strokes for diff`rent folks - but I don`t want to be on a video website - to me there is a skill and art and pleasure in taking photos - digital or film - but the idea of videos transcends this and becomes an entirely different medium - IMHO - and I could not think of anything less interesting - reminiscent of the early days of Super 8 for record shots and family occasions and holidays but not for me I fear !

Personal opinion obviously Stefan but it would be like me being part of a Chef`s Forum and finding someone wanted to include Microwaving or Molecular Gastronomy ( viz Heston Blumenthal ) interesting and slightly relevant but of no interest to me.

Regards

Tony

Well, it is PentaxUser forum, and now Pentax cameras offer video. Nowhere does it specifically state this is a photography forum:

Quote:
Pentax User is an exclusive club for Pentax camera owners. Membership is by yearly subscription and includes a quarterly full colour Pentax User magazine that brings you the latest information about Pentax products, plus features, advice, seminar programmes, special offers, competitions, local group news, classified advertisements (free to subscribers) photographic holidays and more.
Lets have a section of the site for video, and people who are strangely phobic about video can just ignore it.

Agree that video is a very different medium but I am sure there are many members who want to explore their Pentax kit to its full potential....
