Congratulations on your daughter's birthday Tony. I hope she has a very happy one, and enjoys the surprise. She doesn't read this forum does she?

Graham, I've no idea what you mean.
I wouldn't start with the sixth since it doesn't seem to help you.

Indeed, the users that voted have said they wouldn't mind a video section so the discussion is over... just waiting for it now.

Too kind - it`s not officially until September but we ( JO , I , and her partner Jane )have bought a Vespa 125 Douglas for her as it`s her greatest dream after having one in the 80s as a teenager and having had it stolen always wanted another. We thought we would surprise her with a visit and the machine before the "summer" has gone.
Photos will of course follow !
No she doesn`t read the PUF - thinks I`m a nutter already !! - and is deep undercover in the Metropolis as we speak - probably in a dockside caff having a butty and a cuppa !! 12 hour days and busy busy busy !

If it starts raining up there it could turn to snow.

Looking forward to next Monday, My better half is taking me to Barcelona to celebrate her birthday, our friends birthdays, yes they're going too, and the 25th anniversary of meeting our good Swedish friend in a bar..
..on a ferry, but that's another story.

Nope. Another glorious day in Edinburgh. Blue skies and fluffy white clouds. Rain forecast for the week but the weekends looking good.
If only there were a festival or eight to enjoy!

Sounds like it's boring up there in Edinburgh...
...how are you going to pass the next few days with nothing to do?
Weather here's been good, sunshine and blue skies this evening, bit cooler now though.
Only 2 days to work before my break.

Better take plenty of film or cards then, and if you do only one thing it must be the Botilo House, a bit pricey to get in but well worth it, providing of course its not packed full of tourists ruining your shots
The Rambalas is also good if you like street photography
The Sagrada Familia was like a buliding site when we went, probably still is so take a telephoto for doing detail shots, unless you like cranes

Isn't that the whole point of the Sagrada Familia, as its been a permanent building site for the past 130-odd years...The Rambalas is also good if you like street photography

anyway, Park Güell is much more interesting and far less touristy.
And the Rambalas has many attractions, although photography isn't top of most lists
Still shooting in the dark (literally and metaphorically)...
