Hmm, the plot thickens on the ME Super flickering.

When compared to my known good example (which has produced a properly exposed roll of film) it's reading low by about two shutter speeds. This problem shows at all apertures and even without a lens fitted.

I seem to be unable to buy a good black ME Super! I now have one with ok metering but a knackered wind mechanism (doesn't cock the shutter) and another which works but has faulty metering. Thinking I may have to give up and send the latter for a professional CLA.

It's raining in Edinburgh and the mornings are starting to get darker. That's so depressing. Anyone fancy a meet in Fiji?

Doesn't that make the bread soggy?

Personally I have Grouse with a drop of water.

16C and very wet here today. No sign of that big yellow thing you are supposed to see in the sky in August .
At least we didn't get 70mm of rain yesterday like some parts of the Netherlands did.

I've also noticed the leaves are beginning to turn colour on the beech trees in our local woods .
