Oggy,

I am not sure whether you were satisfied with the nice cool temperature that accompanied the snow, or because you managed to take a picture that was in focus.

PS: If 'twas the latter, I think you are entitled to give yourself a pat on the back. Very nice.

Principally answer A, but it's always nice on the odd occasion when I manage B.

There was a heatwave that damaged the air conditioning, that destroyed a UPS, that flattened three servers and wreaked havoc with a RAID array.

Mondays with sore head are not good things, all fixed now, I can have my morning coffee

Still hot and sunny here, and it will be all week they say, with maybe just the odd thunderstorm.

I guess it means I shall be taking the dogs to the local lake a bit more this week so they can cool off. poor Timber, with his double coat is suffering a bit. Odd for a breed from La Palma but there you go. He is a mountain dog and they do have snow there too.

I like being able to sit out in the evenings. Last night I was out until after 11, with my netbook. I only went indoor when it was too dark too see, and the mozzies were beginning to have a chew. No noisy neighbours around last night - Sunday rest is pretty well respected here thank goodness.

Well it's a lovely morning - blue skies , fluffy clouds , sun and a slight breeze.

Wonderful day for taking a K-x for a walk you would think

WRONG !!

I have to wait in all day for the council man to come and kill off my 6 wasp nests in my attic

Terry

If you think I'm going to take piccies of those nasty stripey stingy things living in my attic - you have another think coming .

SIX wasp nests in one attic are six too many - think of the nasty possibility of wasp fights

Hopefully as they have now been sprayed good and proper that's an end to them - but the next 6 weeks will tell.

And of course since the man has now been the weather has changed back to grey skies , temp has dropped with a wallop Methinks rain is on the way

It is - it's raining in Belfast at the moment

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but maybe you can use it to your advantage photographically

If you get the chance, a wasp's nest is a beautiful thing.

I know it is - but I HATE wasps

How they build them I don't know , and I admire them for their skills

BUT they are still nasty stripey stingy things and I've had enough stings in my life than-you-very-much
