Another pointless thread

Hey, I remember those trains !! Pure nostalgia! We used to live on the other side of the harbour in the days when trains still ran along the road fairly regularly. Driving beside a train was an interesting experience (so my wife says, never had the pleasure myself). And the No Parking and Keep Clear signs really meant something back then. The other thing that caught out carelessly parked summer visitors was that very high tides would flood the harbourside road. People returned to their cars to find salt water above the axles. Happy days!

Are the BW ones converted colour images? I'm surprised that some of them have a faded magenta cast. I see that on my old Boots and Agfachrome slides, but rarely on my Kodachromes which, colour-wise, are stunningly stable.
