Shops shut at 8pm, no pubs, no cafes, no restaurants open. Many will never open again.
Tuesday we expect the government to say Christmas is off. Just another day in paradise.

Well at least it gives you a better chance of being able to enjoy more Christmases in the future!

I'm not complaining about it. Not at all. Quite looking forward to a locked down Christmas really. Got used to not going anywhere or doing much outside the home now.
I'm not actually sure I want to go back to "normal" tbh.
I miss my kids, and the chance to see my brothers, though sometimes I wonder if it is worth the hassle, but otherwise? I think I am meant to be a hermit.

Talking of milk, the other day I put out the milk bottles just after midnight and the milkman had just made his delivery for the morning. It's a good job it was colder than my fridge out there!
Best regards, John

Bah ! Humbug !
It appears shops im England will be allowed to stay open 24/7 until Christmas, so they can fleece us of any money we might have...
....but pubs have to stay shut where we are...
