Go the whole hog and call yourself Madame Butterfly. You'd get points for kulcher, and for having a much more auspicious name than both fat and spider.

Spider would be good. Or Madame Butterfly if you dare . Has to be better than you previous name anyway .
Welcome back Techno. Good trip? Hopefully you have had a good sleep now.

Still tired - but it's nice to be back . Washing machine is working hard
Some of the pics I took have been seen - some seem good Some will be trashed during the week Not yet looked at the ones on the K-x - they are a mixture of pics taken with the 18-55 and the 40mmLtd.
Look - it took a while to get used to the first change of name with Mr Spider - do we really have to go through a drastic change to a non-arachnoid type ? An arachnoid type will be an easy ID for someone who is still brain dead after a heavy trip

I'm thinking about saving for a decent AF prime again. Anyone have the 21mm DA Ltd, and what do they think? How does it perform?
I've picked that focal length as I find 28mm pretty handy, as Pentax no longer make a 28mm and in any case something slightly wider would be good the 21mm fits the bill.

I thought it just felt like he has 8 legs then. None of them going n the same direction either. He needs 8 legs when he's been out on the town!
I suppose if he is determined to change name and sex he could become a black widow? Or dance around as a tarantula? At least it would keep the arachnophiles happy. .

I don't know the background to the change from his original name, and I don't think I'll enquire, but I would suggest that Potentspider would provide continuity and remind us of whom we are dealing with.

Thats what I liked about my original name, it got people imagining all sorts of things and if George missed out on the reason for the change then I'm not going to enlighten him
As for my most recent suggestion, everyone please take note: I was only joking, I have no intention of becoming a butterfly of any sort.

I was visiting the buterfly farm in Stratford on Thursday and was besotted by all those beautiful creatures flitting around.
Do you think EternalButterfly would be too effeminate?
