Nice juxtaposition Mr L.

And we are lucky that Dermott is not driving it.

Did a course on disability and air travel today, it's a US of A Department of Transport requirement that all employees having contact with the public of any airline operating to the States do this course. I've no problem at all with this (though it took 3 hours and was incredibly boring), but one of the questions in the exam at the end had me in stitches. It asked whether the airline has to accept emotional support spiders for carriage with a passenger.
Thankfully, no. Only dogs, pigs and miniature horses seem to qualify for that one. But perhaps that is discriminatory?

Where on earth do pigs and miniature horses come in? I can understand guide dogs/hearing dogs but that does verge on the ridiculous.
I'll bet there were a lot of questions about peanuts, after some loon apparently locked herself in the aircraft toilet claiming that her "allergy" meant that she couldn't even be on the same plane as an open bag of the things!

Anti-discriminatory laws in the States means airlines now have to accept Emotional Support Animals (their capitals, not mine), subject to certain conditions, if the passenger has documentary proof or, quote, "provides a convincing verbal case" that they need the animal with them. I'm not sure I want someone on my plane who can't fly without their miniature horse.
I worked for an airline in the UK that did nut-free flights on special request. The vegetable kind that is. We didn't manage too many flights to Greece and Turkey without a few of the human kind on board.

Nice looking games Stefan, I'll definitely give them a go, but not at the moment.
I've just sold a pair of seatbelts for a Landrover, that I've had lying around for a while.
Ebay came up trumps, they were listed at 5.00pm and sold at 8.00pm.
Result!

What if you got a person who needed their emotional support spider, and an arachnophobe on the same flight?
you don't have to be mad to post here
but it does help
but it does help

If you can't say something nice about Pentax, you won't say anything at all.

That usually means you listed them too cheaply! Nice looking games Stefan, I'll definitely give them a go, but not at the moment.

I once bought a Winder ME II about half an hour after it was listed. Felt £12 for a near mint working example was pretty fair and snapped it up.
