Why not just start a 'Pentired' thread, it may last as long as this pointless ramble!
That's what I "sort-of" said yesterday - so maybe I, or someone else if quicker than I , will do that tomorrow
K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)

Well we should be getting "new blood" in all the time. But I don't think it could match the erudite and concise nature of the structure we have developed in this thread.

Hello guys! I am looking for a nice place to visit around New Year's Eve where I can make some great pictures. I would appreciate if you could suggest a proper destination!

It might help if you gave a rough idea of the county, town and/or even country that you would be interested in

Any coastline (preferably West) to see that last sunset of the year.

Good idea. I can do that this year just by taking a 30 minute walk from my house, though I may be dodging fireworks along the way.

Off to Cornwall for the week today.

Was supposed to be going to Spain for 3 weeks Tuesday but when boarding our son went into meltdown and we had to take him off the plane.

Ah well

That's unfortunate Mike. I don't like flying either and I guess there are plenty of people who don't. When boarding is a bit late to back out, but when it happens what can we do.

I don't suppose you get any sort of refund for that, does insurance cover it as it was beyond your control?
Best regards, John

Well now in Cornwall and I see our luck is holding. Sitting in the mobile home wondering if the rain will wash us away before the wind blows us over the cliff.

Unfortunately it's not just flying John, it's geting harder and harder to just get him out of the house. He has slight autisic tendencies as well as his other problems which means he remembers every little thing so after the melt down on the airplane and everything that followed I doubt we will be flying again for a few years.
