You have to hurry up and do it Gwyn, it really is fantastic, Coming down was a bit hair raising as the basket goes over on it's side and gets dragged for ages.

Well?

Did you get airborne?

Long time no post, just a quick one to say it's Eurovision, pizza and wine...

....and beer, and G'n'T...

Nothing changes!
Cheers, HG

No booze here, Though Lord know I could do with some with Eurovision on the box. BBC coverage, not the more serious Dutch.

I'm interested to hear if the flight took place, and how it went.

Just back from a looong drive to Sweden through Holland, Germany and Denmark.

Weather was OK, food good, German motorways a joke and Dutch cyclists suicidal9in Gouda!)

All in a good time and far too many photos to process.
Cheers, HG

Many photos to follow then HG ☺

Sounds like you may have parted with many beer tokens along your journey, my experience of Sweden is that beer is not cheap whilst you are out and about 😐
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

You didn't call in for coffee! Shame on you.

German motorways are permanently dug up, certainly in the north.
My son is driving a mobile TV studio to Norway tomorrow. He is dreading getting to Kiel in it. Drives to Kiel, gets the boat to Oslo, drives up north somewhere, sets up, then reverses the process, all for 90 minutes TV.

Enjoying a glass of red. Waiting for the Foos. I'll probably fall asleep before they are on though.

House sold, new house bought. A weeks holiday in the UK then full on packing mode I guess.

I'm not surprised that it has driven you to drink. Selling and moving house is, in my opinion, about as traumatic as divorce. We have lived in our old village house for over 40 years, and I am certain that my next move will be feet first in a wooden box.

Best wishes, and I hope that you still have all your possessions when you unpack at the new place.

We've lived here for 33 years, so have a lot of stuff to get rid of. We have already cleared a load, but we are moving from 5 bedrooms to two and a half, so plenty more, including a couple of beds, to go yet.

The main problem I will have with it is lack of wall space for pictures. I always promised myself the next house would have more picture space, but it has a lot less!

Stayed up for the Foos and definitely worth it.

Hmm. Not sure how I would shrink some of the paintings
The photos I could reprint as miniatures perhaps .

Strolling on a Cornwall beach at sunset I stopped to interrupt a photographer peering into his tripod mounted camera. Afterwards the conversation with Gill went:
"What were you talking to him about?"
"His camera"
"Is it like yours?"
"No, it's a Hasselblad"
"What's the difference?"
"About £20,000"
"No, absolutely not, I know what you are like ....." etc, etc
