So as a couple your double Dutch.....
His Nibs certainly speaks Double Dutch, especially after a beer or two.
One of the bands he is in, is called Double Dutch, but oddly enough they play Irish music.

Have a good trip! I hope you have some good weather. Going for photography or for a breather? How is Mrs K10D doing?

His Nibs and Grandson #2 are celebrating their shared birthday on Saturday. Only 61 years between them. Bought His Nibs some slippers. Boring but needed. He couldn't come up with any ideas of want he really wanted. The kids will buy him the traditional bottle of Single Malt or two no doubt. GS#2 wants a telescope so he can look at the moon. We are all chipping in to get a good one. His Dad also asked for money towards it for his birthday last month. I'm hoping it is one I can get an camera adapter for .

Hello all, just been catching up everything and hope all's going well.

I have sad news, my much loved ginger tom, called George has passed away., he'll be missed so much.

At 20 years old he's had a good life and we have fond memories, may he rest in peace.

And some good photos too, by the look of it, to remember George by. We do miss our pets when they die: they had become part of the family, really. My sympathies.

A few of my photographs in flickr.
Lizars 1910 "Challenge" quarter-plate camera; and some more recent stuff.

Sorry to hear about George HG. He looks to have been a beautiful cat, and 20 is a very impressive age.
It is so hard when a treasured pet dies. I still miss our dog, 10 months on.
My condolences.

Walk in shower already removed. Toilet and wash basin to remove tomorrow. New pipes to install, re-floor, then I'll fit the new bathroom suite. Nine years since I installed the last system so time for a change. Mrs K10D well happy.

You're a braver man than me! Haven't had a bathroom refit in 20 years. I am leaving that to who ever is stupid enough to buy the house now.
It will go on the market officially this week. I do not expect a quick sale.

It's a while since I've "physically" grafted. Hard yards are done, new pipework installed, flow balancer installed (eliminates toilet flush or taps running issues) whilst in the shower. Floor back in place and only the toilet to remove before installing the new kit. "Note to self" I aint doing this again.

Drilled the tap holes in the shower/bath today, VERY carefully.

Slept like a log Friday and last night. This burning calories lark is quite effective.

Temporarily showering at my mums house close by, so not to be a stinker.

The mind says you can, it's the body that's not so sure.

I think they must age at different rates
