Just had the concept brochure for our house from the agents. I think I want to buy that house - it looks a lot better than mine .

Grandson arrived from Berlin last night. Two years old. Active is an understatement. He's just gone to bed for his afternoon nap. Totally pointless thinking it's going to be a quiet two weeks ahead.......

I've just failed for the umpteenth time to get airborne in a hot air balloon. (too gusty) I've been booking it and having it cancelled for four years now ! They've even upgraded me to an 'anytime' ticket to try and get rid of me.

His Nibs promised me a hot air balloon ride about 20 years ago. I'm still waiting but only because he never actually bought it for me.
It is colder here than it was at Christmas. Nothing daft planned. Nothing planned for the weekend in fact.
