My first powered two-wheeled experience was on the back of my grandfather's Zundapp sitting on a cushion tied to the luggage rack, no helmets of course, when I was about seven. Am I right in remembering a spiders web pattern on the saddle?

Just hours restoring them. A huge following of such bikes here. My son's bikes were immaculate too, and fetched a good price when they sold them and all the spares.Unless the Zundapp & Kreidler are new bikes Gwyn someone spent an age with photoshop

Been going to and fro on the old Bullet last week. Mrs Cedric concerned as it normally only goes out for the annual MOT.

We're all older but still no wiser as there's going to be plenty of beer consumed!
As for Zundapps in the UK, they never realy got a foot hold as a main bike and in the 70s were looked on as exotic and expnsive. The one I have is from an era when they wre even rarer on this side of the North Sea so any parts I need tend to come from Germany.
This is what I bought..
