Not a nice shiny new one, but one from 2009, a Pössl For 2. It just felt right. Let's hope that proves to be the case.
We collect it on Friday after they fit a bike rack and an awning to it.
Pedal power and Sails. Are you expecting engine failure???We just bought a camper.

Won't that make it awkward to drive and why a bike rack, I'd have got a top box...
....oh!
The awning rolls up and it's a rack to carry a bike...
...or 2?

You got it HG. A two bike rack fixed to one of the back doors.
Not that I ride a bike but nevermind, useful for His Nibs to have a bike, so I can send him down the shop without having to pack up the whole shooting match.
Our son was disappointed we didn't have a towbar fitted instead so he can take his motorbike when he borrows the camper. I like the way he assumes he can borrow it.

I've just a glass of Barley wine. Haven't had one of those since the 70's.
His Nibs was given a selection of beers for his birthday, including said barley wine. Won't be driving anywhere tonight after that!

A child returning home or family flying out to visit? I see it was delayed 43 minutes. I hope that doesn't affect their connection.

Like you Gwyn I haven't had one since the 70's, it tasted a lot better now than then and was a lot stronger...
...my son had visited a shop/bar in Leeds and got three 'wine strength' bottles, all very strong and tasty.
I'm of for the results of a blood test in the morning, I'm expecting them to say there's too much blood in the alcohol stream

Well, blood's OK, it seems despite what some think, that I'm in good health.
I've been absent lately because of another moped.
This ones a 1957 Zundapp Combinette S, it was a complete wreck but is almost ready for the road now. The boss told me to get another hobby after she found ALL my cameras!
So now it's mopeds (4 so Far!) and a cull on the unused film and cameras.
Have to sell one to fund the other...
Have you collected the camper Gwyn and is it as good as you hoped?

Glad your blood and health generally are OK HG.
Are Zundapps common in the UK? Two of my sons had Kreidlers, but some of their mates had Zundapps. They all seemed to spend more time fixing them than riding them .
We have spent a couple of nights in the camper this week. We headed up to our oldest son, with the intention of staying at the official camper spot in his town, but he directed us to a much nicer (but illegal!) spot for our first night. He and his girlfriend joined us for dinner. He even cooked it! We were parked by the end of the Afsluitdijk, so had lots of water around, and boats going by. There were a couple of other campers there too, so we weren't completely isolated. Our son said they rarely move people on from it, and only do so if it gets too busy. He sails past it, and even moors by it, regularly in the summer so knows about these things.
The second night we spent on a nice campsite a bit further inland, so we could dump the dirty water before heading home. Enjoyed barbecued steak and a good Rioja there.
I was worried about how the old dog would take to it all, but he was totally relaxed, and well behaved.
Thinking of a trip to Denmark in May now.
