Started on the beer already, making the evening meal..

...just about to sit down with Mrs HG, she'll be on the Kir, me, well Ricard...

Once fed it'll be a nice warm sofa and a film of some sort, followed by an early (for New Years Eve!) bed time.

Early start in the morning and a walk to get rid of the excess weight acquired over the last week or so...
Cheers, HG

Do we have a dentist on the forum? Just tidying up the Turkish Delight and I`ve pulled out a crown complete with pin. Super glue might not be too clever but how about two part epoxy resin?

Careful you don't glue your mouth permanently shut

I know a dentist who put up some shelves and they fell down when he put some
valuable antiques on them I asked him if he used Rawlplugs but he'd
just put screws straight into the wall

Happy New Year to one and all.

I was in charge of the meal this evening, took me over half an hour of waiting at the chinese take away, washed it down with a nice bottle of Chardonay.

I may be a little late getting online tomorrow so I'll say it now, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We had the now traditional NYE BBQ.
Fireworks have been going off all evening. No doubt there are still enough left to make midnight chaos as usual .

His Nibs had just finished watching Indiana Jones and the Crystal Zimmerframe so I am off downstairs to be sociable.
A happy and healthy New Year to you all!

The New Year here was our traditional party with family and a few friends and that all went well. Taxis ferried away most in the early hours, leaving just the daughter and family to find wherever they could to sleep.

Breakfast is my domain, so orders were taken and food prepared, all done now. Sue is taking down Christmas as I write and then it's back to normal for another year. Whatever normal might be....

So whatever things are for you, a Very Happy New Year to all, and I hope it's an absolute cracker that will make some great new memories. Have fun!
Best regards, John

Happy New Year to one and all.

Just back from a walk, something we need to do on a regular basis. The excesses of the last week or so have finally caught up, so it's diet and exercise for the next few weeks to get back on an even keel.
Cheers, HG

A Very Happy New Year to all.

The end of chapter twelve finished well.

Ringo has just taken a photo using an Asahi Pentax (A Hard Day's Night).

Errr it's just fallen into water whilst he was taking a selfie.
