I hope not!

FRiday night, Marston's EPA poured, curry ordered and now looking for something to watch on the idiot box, sorry TV..

Must admit have been on the much aligned Facebook. There are groups outside of photography which I'm interested in.
Saw another old shipmate off to Fiddlers Green today, 5 years younger than me. So a bit of a sad day.

Stan

"Can you play the balalaika?"

"Can she play!"

"Who taught you?"

"No one"

"Ah, then it's a gift".
Too far from a shore.

Blue skies and sun here today. Snow tomorrow.

Battling a very painful frozen shoulder, busy with expensive physio treatments twice a week.

Photo Mojo has got up and left again .

Cold here but no real snow yet - just a few flakes now and again. I'm still hoping for a trip to Martin Mere tomorrow. The brother-in-law has lent me a very warm ear-covering hat for the purpose, which will guarantee me looking extremely silly but keeping warm!
Best regards, John

Glad your warm John, I try not to go too far on my days off when the weather's like it is.

We have snow, only a light covering, but snow all the same.

And if it hasn't gone in the morning then getting to work will be a pain with all the 'don't do snow' drivers panicking!

Still that's tomorrow, today it's fit a new toilet syphon time. The old one could be stripped down and bits replaced, but that's too easy.

Now I have to but a new one piece item and strip the flipping toilet down!!!

Oh well...
Cheers, HG

Best of luck with it HG

I should be well on my way to Edinburgh now - my normal Sunday morning trek.

I cleared my garden of ice yesterday - the result of snow which had melted thanks to a short blast of sun and then it froze again , then snowed and the whole darn cycle repeated itself

Looked good last night - could get the car out easily and the road was clear.

This morning - that huge area was once more white and the road was a mess.

I know I can drive in it but it's the folk who can't make it hard for me . And there's no way I'm going out to walk on icy pavements - I have no desire to slip and slide and fall

No snow here, just a grey and drizzly day. There is a chance of snow tonight to make the morning commute more fun though.
I shall be glad when His Nibs finally gives up working and really retires. I hate him going off at 6.30 am and driving for nearly and hour and a half each morning, then the same long drive every evening.
He's gone to Amsterdam on the train today with #1 Grandson, to visit the science museum. I had thought of going too, just to wander around the city, but the weather put me off.
