I've found some American sour mash whisky for £12.00 a bottle, so I could join you.

Should I put this in " Leads to Deals"

The only good thing about news papers is the fact I can use them to light the stove....

I've recently stopped having a daily newspaper. I will miss the paper when I need to defrost the freezer, but that is the only time. Never used paper for lighting the fire. Haven't missed my daily printed doom and gloom.

My paper recycling bin will be a lot emptier as a result too.

Presumably Gwyn uses old newspapers to catch the drips

Saves puddles on the floor

I wrap the frozen food in newspaper while the freezer defrosts. Great insulator. Did you never buy a brick of ice cream and have it wrapped in newspaper so it stayed frozen until you got home way back when?

The freezer is in the garage so I don't care about puddles on the floor.

We did not have ice cream in our village. We had to chew tar instead.

OOH - I'd forgotten about that

If I need to take my stuff out I've some very very good insulated polystyrene boxes which do a marvellous job if I stick a few Gel Ice packs in them .

Mind you - I don't need to take stuff out of my freezer - it does it all itself Yes - I'm lazy

Last time I actually had to empty it was when I'd to buy a new fridge freezer as the fridge had packed up !!

Friday started with a 250 mile round trip to collect a pile of moped.

I say pile as it's in bits and needs some serious TLC.

After a late start at work I found I'd left my works keys at home, which I needed to lock up, so I finally got home, finished, at 9:30 in the evening.

Saturday was spent shopping and today fiddling with moped bits, and watching Lewis dominate the GP.

Just finished a beer and now it's almost time for bed.

Night all.
