+1

As for my attempt at humour I know it's an old 'piston' joke but I couldn't resist

Welcome to Spring.

Evident in Edinburgh by wind and rain.

Don't know what I'm going to do with the weekend. No rugby.

We have had a lovely spring day, 20C blue skies, sunshine, gentle breeze.
I spent the day washing and air drying stacks of stuff. Everything was dry within the hours so the line was clear for the next load.

It's supposed to rain tomorrow, so I guess my day will be spent ironing all that clean linen.

Last week I actually used my camera a couple of times.

No plans for the weekend. We'll see what the weather is like.

Indeed. I'm going to Leicester vs Exeter on Sunday. Plenty of local clubs playing too - but you'll have to move away from the TV!

I should make the effort to watch our local union team in Wrexham, problem is Saturday morning is used watching our son play football then squeeze all the jobs that need doing at home in before the Scarlets kick off tonight

We did manage to make it down to Llanelli to watch the Scarlets beat Munster a few weeks ago but the distance is too great to go there often

I had a flickr message earlier from a publisher wanting to use a photo of mine for a forthcoming book

They will pay by way of a free copy of the book - no cash so no shock there, problem is will I no longer be pointless if I have a photo published

Not realy, you took a book as payment, that seems pretty pointless to me.

I don't know, I think it rather cool, I had some photos published, twenty odd years ago for a book on Shugborough Hall, and my mum still has the book on the coffee table and insists on showing it to anyone new that vists

Anyway can't stop, on my way to Brum
