The Adnams has taken a hammering over the past few days..
...and a pub in the bottom of Harrogate provided a couple off pints of Okels Olaf yesterday, that's a fine Manx stout...
Not a bad weekend so far, and I get to play with cameras and mopeds...

Those last two posts sound almost as if they have a point.
Haven't updated mine yet anyway. I might get around to it one of these centuries.
Yesterday was the warmest 8 March ever here. We had 16C and further south 18C. Today we are due to get the 18C and them in the sarf 20C .
The sun is shining, the sky is blue, I have a line full of washing and I don't care that it annoys the neighbours that I hang washing out on a Sunday!

First two Ladybirds spotted in the garden. Trying to clear out a plant, a ground covering type which I think could be called "Nightmare" or "B'stard" because of the spread of the root system which must have all traces removed. Area to eventually to be covered in slate chippings.

I just released a butterfly that was flapping against the window in my study. I think it must have been hibernating in there somewhere.
I should be out tidying the garden really, but am lacking the inclination right now. I spent the week laying new flooring in our bedroom, moving furniture around, and sorting through clothes and stuff. I need a day off.

we've got contractors removing Japanese knotweed all round the studio. Thankfully it's on the adjoining property but there is talk of having to take down 6 feet high Victorian brick walls as part of the process.
