I wonder if one of those kitchen spammers also does bathrooms .

Well - this seems to be sinking

Looks as if tonight I'll be helping my friend pick a wee camera for her hubby .

He's got MUCH bigger hands than me [ so something as small as the P70 is out ] , never had a camera before [ enjoyed playing with the P70 ] , I think a fixed lens is what he needs , can't see him going in for lens swapping at all - he wants to be able to pick it up and press a button - his words not mine.

This is going to be fun - oh and budget is about £200 max .

Sorry about that Barrie - was just a sort of grumble from me - the non-expert being asked to advise on a camera for a total n00b - and I'm really not much better than that either .

Stan - that's a really bright idea - had been wondering about a bridge

Might enjoy the portability of the MX-1 even more. A little over budget, but possibly well worth it. I'm enjoying mine a lot.

I'm glad you agree re fugly - I got it from my GodPapa , who in his turn got it from a Cycling forum .

Of course the one problem I have is that the lucky recipient of this camera [ and I've now got a window with 6 tabs of cameras for Isobel to look at tonight ] doesn't actually have a Computer !!

his son does though
