Oh flipping heck !

I've just landed myself with a job .

Lent my P70 to a very nice neighbour she she could take photos of her grandchild's B-day party - not one in the family has a camera !!

They were thrilled with the results they got and I've just had a phone call on a perfectly terrible line saying Isobel wants to buy one as a Christmas Pressie for someone [ her husband I ~think ~.

The question was where could she buy one !!!!!!!

What have I got myself into ?

I've told her to give me a ballpark idea as to what she wants to spend and I'll then go from there .

Happy Birthday to Stan Happy Birthday to Stan

Perhaps HG will send a HGV round carrying half of his alcohol stash

Ooops perhaps that was uncalled for perhaps I am just jealous as an all day session for me these days is about an hour and a half before I am drunk
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

Had a really nice day, lunch and a large glass of (anonymous) House Red. The day was complete by obtaining a Third Place for one mono image and HC for the other in our camera club competition. So have a virtual glass of your favourite tipple from me
Regards
Stan

Thank you Stan, I had a small glass of red, not virtual, on the strength of your achievements. Are the images available for perusal?

Sorry Stan. I'll get in early with happy 71st for next year.

I am STILL doing the bathroom from hell. Think I started it around the same time as this thread.

On a completely different note:

I've just got in from the garage where I've been working on my new model railway (actually it'll be a glorified train set) the Grandson is train mad so what better excuse Grandad will have new ways to bribe them to be quiet!

I'm even branching out with the wargaming business by selling model railway stuff so if anyone knows a railway modeler then point them to my website, obviously I can't openly advertise that on here but it doesn't take a degree in rocket science to google someones user name

I'm sure when you have drunk enough Stan will invite you to judge at his club. At this moment I could not find my way way there, so it's no good asking me. Is there a smile for "hick"
